July 17 – David and I visited with Savta the day before her birthday. We had Savta’s favorite – cheesecake, and she said that David looked “FANTASTIC”, and he does!
We don’t have plans yet, to celebrate. I think I’ll have to make an Israeli flag and bring it to the nursing home! Here’s a photo of Savta and David, when he was home for Pesach.

I’ve had this painting since 1978 – it has gone everywhere with me and has always hung in a place of honor. I like to lie on the couch and look at it, and I always think of sunlight and sky filtering down through green leafy trees.
